For every bar you buy, we donate a bar to someone in need.
Having a purpose and helping others was at the heart of Please & Thank You from day one. Because we believe that clean hands are a superpower and should be accessible to all. Sadly, hygiene poverty means this is not always the case.
That’s why for every soap bar we sell, we donate another to those with young families who need it most, both in Great Britain and abroad.
We’ve been talking to the wonderful team at The Hygiene Bank since our launch back in Autumn 2020. They’re a nationwide charity working with local communities to tackle hygiene poverty and we’re delighted to be sharing the soaps you have helped us to donate with them.
As the first sunny, albeit still freezing days hit London a few weeks ago, we busily packed up soaps and set out to meet new local friends to donate them too. We dropped off socially distanced soaps to the lovely Claire and her mini poodle Jess who manage a North London branch of The Hygiene Bank and followed their journey as the soaps were given out to local women and families in need over the following days.
Having gotten to know our local areas so much more as we’ve adapted to working from home over the last year, it’s great to now be able to give back to local families.

"This is a lovely soap, my hands smell amazing! It doesn't make my hands feel dry like some soaps do. Cheers me up every time I use it."
